Frequently Asked Questions
You might ask...
Who
will be in my home?
As
the owner of Rose's Cleaning Services, Rose is also the cleaner.
She has no employees and has help from her husband Mark, son David, and
daughter Tonya. No one else
is permitted in your home.
Are
you insured?
It is
very important that anyone working in your home be insured. We
are insured with Farm Bureau in Highlander Point, Floyds Knobs,
IN. A copy of our certificate is available on request.
What
time will you be cleaning my home?
Our
hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and you will be
scheduled during these times. You may request your cleaning to be
performed before or after 12 noon.
Do
I need to be home?
It is
not necessary to be home in fact most of our customers are not.
We keep a copy of your key and code it and store it in our safe lock
box. Apartment home residents can authorize entry by notifying
the office at your property.
How
do I pay for my cleaning?
Payment
is due at time of service. Simply leave a check or cash on the
counter top each visit we make to your home, or make arrangements with
us to be invoiced by the month. Alternatively, you can pay conveniently
using your VISA or MasterCard charge card. There is a $25.00 fee
for any returned check.
How
will I know when to expect my cleaning?
A
set schedule will be agreed upon by you and Rose and entered into our
computer with a specific cleaning schedule. You can notify us of
special attention needs before your next scheduled cleaning day.
If you need to change your schedule, just give Rose a call and she will
make every effort to accommodate you, though sometimes may conflict
with other's scheduled cleanings, accommodation may not be
possible. Rose will work with you to resolve your request.
What
about cleaning supplies and equipment?
You are provided with the best
cleaning supplies and equipment. The
products we use have been tested and used in all types of cleaning
situations. Maintenance and repair of all equipment is done by us. You
need not be concerned about someone breaking your vacuum.
What preparations need
to be made?
Make sure that Rose
knows how to operate your alarm system, where fuse boxes or circuit
breakers are, how to deal with pets, and any other instructions you
might have. You don't have to
clean before Rose comes, but it would be courteous to clear away
clutter so she don't have to clean around it or put it away where you
can't find it. Be clear about which items to be cleaned are fragile or
irreplaceable. Better yet, put them away and clean them yourself to
eliminate any risk of breakage.
What
happens if my regularly
scheduled cleaning falls on a statutory holiday?
Rose will contact you
to reschedule your appointment. She will endeavor to accommodate your
needs when rescheduling.
Note:
We
charge $20 for a lockout.
You will be charged if
we fail gaining access to your home, through no fault of ours.
What do I do if I am not
satisfied with the cleaning that was done?
Clients should discuss their concerns
with Rose. We love what we do and if you are not satisfied we will do
it over. If something is missed or not done to your satisfaction, we
will either note your service report so it is taken care of on the next
visit or we will come out to your home to correct the problem.
